About

Share photos,
simply.

Zen Albums is a minimalist photo sharing platform. Create an album, upload your photos, share a link. No social features, no algorithms, no noise — just your images and the people you choose to share them with.

Built for photographers, families, and anyone who wants to share a moment without the overhead of a social network. Each album lives at its own private link. No account required to view.

Philosophy

Less interface, more image.

Every design decision in Zen Albums starts from a single question: does this serve the photograph? Borders instead of shadows. Monochrome instead of color. Typography that steps back so the image can step forward.

The framing system — wall color, frame, passepartout — exists because context shapes perception. A photograph on a warm paper background reads differently than the same photograph on cool white. Zen Albums puts that control in your hands.

Curation

The constraints are the product.

36 photos per album. Not a technical limit — a creative one. A standard 35mm film roll held 36 frames. That constraint produced some of the most considered photography ever made. Zen Albums holds you to the same standard.

Albums exist for 90 days from the moment you create them, then they are permanently deleted. No archive, no recovery. Each album is a moment — present while it lasts, gone when it's over. You are not building a library. You are making a choice.
